They kept Freckles at the surgery center last night. I got a call this morning that she is doing well but still is experiencing pain – but it sounds like they did have had her up on her 3 legs. They are going to keep her on the drip pain medication another day and she will spend the night there again. They hinted that she may need to stay yet another night, but they said they will assess her and make a decision and call tomorrow morning. Of course, I want them to take care of her as long as they think is necessary. But I am starting to hear a draining sound…I think it may be my bank account! What ever it takes! I so look forward to getting her home again.

I’m glad that they’re staying on top of her pain. And to have her up, especially while she’s still so doped up, that’s good!
Paws crossed that she can come home tomorrow. In the meantime, continje to catch up on you’re sleep. You’ve really been put through the ringer getting to this point.
If you call for an update later today, let us know, okay? Would love to know if she’s eating or drinking yet since she loves food! She maybe too druggy though.
